
Maryland Chapter 004
To unite a group of women committed to live, laugh and share.
To accomplish this mission we commit to the following:
1. Attend annual planning meeting each May to set calendar, vote on non-profit, etc.
2. Attend bi-monthly social activity of the chapter.
3. Connect with a fellow Jewel at least once each month.
4. Participate as a group in the Women of Grace community service day.
5. Support a minority owned business each month.
6. Attend the annual BJ-HS convention in September.
7. Most importantly, commit to aging with knowledge of our bodies, armed with the ability to laugh, dressed in our spiritual armor as we express it all with Class and Sass.

Chapter dues: $10 per month
Disbursement of dues:
$50 per year to pay annual dues to parent chapter.
10% to support the non-profit selected for The Women of Grace community day.
70% to support annual holiday gathering at year end or other disbursement method, such as Birthday Club, Convention Fee, etc.
Balance to remain in the treasury.

b. Marilyn – November Summary of activities and meetings held during the past year April 10 March 13 February 13 Sheila, Kathleen, Deirdre and Marilyn joined the Parent Chapter for dinner at M&S Grill and a play at the Warner Theatre.
January - no activity December 14th We all want to thank Marilyn for the Women of Grace holiday tote bags and book marks. Welcome our new member Sylvia, who came to the party and took home all the pennies!
Opened with a prayer by Deirdre. The above listed Jewels met at the Royal Tea Room owned by Dee Jameson, located in LaPlata, MD at 2pm. A lunch menu topped with a warm scone and various teas were enjoyed by all. After lunch the group toured the antique and gift shop and spoke with the owner who showed interested in our Society and described her fundraising opportunities. Sheila, Kathleen and Karen were welcomed into the Women of Grace Chapter.
2. General meetings will be held by member according to last name. The host will set the theme and place for the meeting. This meeting will also be used to plan/select the group outing for the following month. Once an outing is decided upon, then the current host and next host will coordinate the outing.
